The following work showcases Cardi B’s signature shoe where I lead in creating concepts for color and material application with the artist and her team for her first footwear collaboration with Reebok.
Color and materials are inspired by the 90’s summer time vibes in New York City - Coney Island. Where colors range from day time to night time wearability. This collection continues Cardi’s signature monochrome color blocking with hits of gold jeweled detail during the day time and changed to a more bold color blocking execution for night time wear. Materials are rich in leathers with suede details along with a color popped contrast in the tongue lace loop and logos.

Launch colorway was inspired by moments in time with Cardi where the colors off-white/black are timeless, with added hits of gold metallic and transparency used for embellishment.

Neon collection was inspired by Cardi’s colorful personality. Color and materials are high gloss and transparent- keeping the theme of the spirit animal of a peacock who is bold, colorful and unapologetic.
